Drawdown
Drawdown measures the fall from a previous peak in an investment's value.
A value falling from 100 to 80 has a drawdown of 20 percent. Maximum drawdown is the largest peak-to-trough fall within the examined period. The result depends on the period and whether distributions and costs are included.
