Data used to provide the service
ChartCompass processes account and authentication details, subscription state, preferences, saved research, watchlists, alerts, strategies, portfolio inputs, notes, and other content you choose to use. Technical request and operational security data support delivery, abuse prevention, diagnosis, and reliability.
Providers
Payment details are handled through the configured payment provider rather than stored as full card details by ChartCompass. Market-data, email, AI, and other configured providers process the bounded information needed for an explicit feature. Provider availability and terms can vary.
Public contact messages
The contact form sends your name, email address, optional organization, topic, and message to a protected recipient through the configured email provider. ChartCompass does not write that personal contact content or the submitting IP address to the product database or application logs. Only outcome, topic, timestamp, and request identifier are recorded for operations. The email provider processes the message for delivery.
Retention and controls
Account content is retained as needed to provide the service, preserve security and billing records, meet applicable obligations, and support user-requested history. Available export, deletion, account, and privacy controls are exposed in the product. Backups can retain deleted data for a bounded recovery period before rotation.
Sharing and public content
Private research is not public by default. A user intentionally creating a public share link exposes only that bounded shared view. Owner-authored company and Insights content is public after publication; private drafts remain owner-only. ChartCompass does not claim to sell private research or contact messages.
Requests and changes
Use the privacy topic on the contact page for an access, correction, deletion, or policy question. Requests are verified before account data is disclosed or changed. Final controller identity, jurisdiction-specific rights, retention periods, and notice details require owner approval before launch.
