AB Science fell sharply on a GCP inspection update. AB Science S.A. (AB.PA on PAR) fell very sharply over the last five trading days, with the steepest drop in the latest session, outpacing both a slightly weaker S&P 500 and a clearly lower healthcare sector. That pushed back the expected restart of its AB8939 phase 1 trial in acute myeloid leukemia to early 2027 and the masitinib phase 3 trial in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to late 2027, pending health-authority assessment, while the sickle cell disease program was left unaffected. The half-year financial report, due by October 9, should lay out new management's ambitions and will be the next thing to watch.
