Relative strength

Relative strength compares the performance of one asset with another asset or benchmark.

A rising ratio of two comparable price series means the first asset is gaining relative to the second. It can outperform even while both assets fall. This comparison is different from RSI, which measures a single asset's recent gains and losses.
