Bollinger Bands
Bollinger Bands surround a moving average with bands based on recent price dispersion.
The bands are placed a chosen number of standard deviations from the average. Their width grows when recent price dispersion rises. A price reaching a band describes its position relative to recent variation, and does not by itself establish a reversal.
